About
Who builds OscillaTrade
OscillaTrade is built and run by Robin Ball in the United Kingdom. He is a trader, and he built the trading journal he wanted for himself: one that reads the behaviour behind the trades, not only the trades.
[A sentence or two from Robin about why he built it goes here.]
There is no team behind the name. Support tickets, the weekly email and the code are his.
What it does
It is a trading journal for day and swing traders in futures, forex, stocks and crypto, with CSV import, playbooks and a daily check-in. Pro adds Patterns, which looks for behavioural patterns in your own trade history, an AI coach that interviews you about what it finds, one behaviour to work on each week, a 24-week discipline programme and a set of reset exercises. The journal is $5 a month; Pro is $49 a month. Nothing on the site is free, and the pricing page says so.
What it does not claim
OscillaTrade does not claim results. It publishes no win-rate figures, no testimonials and no user counts, because it has no honest ones to publish. The reset sessions are EMDR-, NLP- and EFT-inspired exercises for the stress of trading, not therapy or treatment. It is not financial advice.
Writing
Robin writes the articles on this site. Each one cites its sources.
- Why your trading journal isn't making you better
- If-then plans: the best-evidenced technique in trading psychology, used at the wrong moment
- What actually kills retail traders, according to the data
- Losing a funded account: write the debrief, then go quiet for three days
